The Nissan Skyline C210 is the succeeding model to the C110 “Kenmeri” Skyline from the early to mid-1970s. With a production run from 1977-1981 model years, this generation of Skyline did not feature a GT-R model, as the oil crisis of 1973 led to the Kenmeri GT-R being pulled from production prematurely. This generation of Skyline however was the first to feature a Turbocharged model, the GT-EX.
The Hot Wheels C210 features round headlights, indicating a 1977-78 model, and is pretty much factory spec but features fender flares, a front air dam and lowered stance. The 2018 model’s steering wheel is cast in silver, possibly as part of the base. This casting is Right-Hand Drive (RHD), as standard on all Japanese-market vehicles.
